Chapter 4: Sketching the boss
- Click on the 3D part. The 3D Standard Ribbon gets activated.
- Select Processing plane in the visualization toolbar.

- Select the top face of the part.

Notice how the edges of the top face are highlighted in purple.
- Click on your RMB (Right Mouse Button) to accept the suggestion.
- Click Add sweep with translation.

should automatically change to the Sketch tab. If not, click on the sketch tab yourself.
- Click on Circle.

- Move your mouse to the edge of the base part. If your close to the edge the HiCAD autopilot shows the [Z] symbol, which means that you have selected the center of the base.

Select the Center.
- Press the Spacebar to enter a value.
- Enter the value: 37.5 as radius for your circle.
- Click on others to open the submenu of the line tools.

- Select the function Parallel to create an offset.

- Select the last created circle on the inside (this is your offset direction)
- Enter the value: 5 as your offset.
- Enter the Value 12 in your Add sweep dialog and press add.

Your model should now look like this:
